Meet Dr. Christopher Allen
Dr. Christopher Allen
Dr. Allen was born and raised in Burlington, Connecticut. He attended the University of Connecticut and earned his BS degree in biology with additional minors in molecular and cell biology and physiology neurobiology. He graduated summa cum laude and with membership in the Phi Beta Kappa honors society. He completed his dental school training at the University of Connecticut, receiving his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree and the Quintessence Award for Clinical Achievement in Restorative Dentistry. After graduating from dental school, he moved away from New England to complete a one-year general practice residency program at the University of Alabama at Birmingham Hospital, a large, Level 1 Trauma Center. During residency, he received advanced training with medically complex patients in: General Dentistry, Oral Surgery, Implant Dentistry, Endodontics, Sedation dentistry, and Special Needs dentistry.
Dr. Allen loves the intersection of art and science in the field of dentistry and has always been committed to learning and expanding his knowledge base. He is also passionate about giving back to his community through service activities such as Mission of Mercy and Give Kids a Smile.
In his spare time, Dr. Allen enjoys fly fishing, fly tying, hiking, and skiing. He is an avid fan of all Boston sports teams.
